Louise Dunckley

Louise trained at Wimbledon Art School and gained a Degree in Animation at Surrey University (Farnham). This has led to a successful career in website development incorporating all her skills from graphic design to animation.

Based in Ockley, Louise lives and works near Dorking in Surrey. Inspired by her dog walks and horse rides in the area, she has been working on a collection of illustrations titled “The Surrey Hills” which are modern prints of the local villages, views and landmarks, inspired by vintage railways travel posters of the 1930s.

One of her first commissions, as well as selection of A2 prints are available to view in the newly-refurbished Dorking Halls. Louise has also undertaken a series of 6 limited edition illustrations for the Surrey Hills Boards AONB’s 60th Anniversary to promote visiting the countryside. These have been used in a travel campaign across Surrey, featuring in bus stations, on train platforms, a cow and even on the back of 2 double decker buses!

Her artwork has also featured on various publications including Surrey Life magazine and brochures, ticketing and merchandise for the last air show at Wings & Wheels, Dunsfold.

Louise's work has been recently recognised by her recent exciting nomination as a Rural Business Awards Finalist in the South East Best Rural Creative or Media Based Business 2018/2019.
